Auld Reekie

I took a trip into town today to meet up with special and long-standing friends for lunch. It was so very nice.

Then I went to collect a portfolio which a gallery had so kindly scanned for me.

There are exceptionally nice folk in this world and I was lucky enough to meet my share of them today but later, well, you can't have too much meted out to you without a counter-balance and someone I know gave me the biggest scowl and look of disdain I can remember. She looked pretty ugly.

Later again, Donald and I went over to Luke who had cooked us a wonderful hot-pot and we all watched a great comedy film which got better and better as we viewed. Helen Mirren played the part of a wicked teacher.
