Preparing the Ice

Another beautiful day in Edinburgh, cool, but sunny and little wind. I went down to see the final preparation for Edinburgh's Christmas on Princes Street. The skating rink is by the Scott Monument this year, and looks quite compact. The cooling has been turned on and the rink is nearly complete. This morning, a guy was out with a hose to build up the base. As the light was almost perfect, the blip almost chose itself.
