Three smiling professors

This afternoon I attended a research seminar on TH Green. This was delivered as part of a series of talks for the InGSoc project, which is hosted within the research centre that I head up at Edinburgh Napier University. The speaker was Professor Colin Tyler of Hull University.

Afterwards one of my colleagues took a photo of me with Colin (left) and the Principal Investigator of the InGSoc project, Professor Alistair Duff (right).

Why are we smiling? Well, Colin delivered his inaugural lecture earlier this week, Alistair has just been promoted, and I am delirious after what feels like the longest and toughest week of the academic year so far.

Exercise today: walked to work, 1 hour.
