Our Natural Satellite...

The Moon is the only natural satellite of the Earth and the fifth largest moon in the Solar System. It is the largest natural satellite of a planet in the Solar System relative to the size of its primary. One of my favourite books when I was young was 'You Will Go to the Moon' I think it belonged to my brothers, but I loved it!

As I drove over the hill road to work the moon was magnificent. It remains, under the Outer Space Treaty, free to all nations to explore for peaceful purposes.
