A Royal Day Job

A day off from work today but the furthest RobT, Jasper and I ventured was to Helmsley - another market town about 12 miles away.

We had a look around the market and then a visit to LynnW's sweet shop. It was the first time RobT had seen it but he was "like a kid in a sweet shop" and bought a bag full of sweets.

These scarecrows made me smile. They guard an allotment in the shadow of Helmsley Castle. I particularly liked the Queen with her throne and orb.
