A Tale o' Nine Cats

I have noticed, during our daily walks along the Paseo Maritimo, that the ginger cats we saw last year seemed to have increased in number. There were kittens, and adults, and others somewhere in between. They would be among the bushes, or stretching out on manicured lawns beyond the fence, or strolling along the seafront. But today I came upon this extraordinary family gathering among the raised flower beds. They seemed quite unconcerned by my approach. The ginger gene, quite clearly, is alive and well on the Costa del Sol!
