Safety in Numbers

Our spuggies seem to have returned in numbers after a decline since we went away. They perch on top of the hedge then dart out as a crowd, the back again to the hedge. Any sign of trouble, and they disappear into the depths.
Fungi Night went well. we had some good talks - one on lichens, one on web caps, and one on Fungi Forensics (steps in IDing fungi using macroscopic features and a field guide) - and a good turnout for a cold November night. Enjoy your weekend.
