A job half done

Don't you just hate it when you have misjudged the amount of mash you need for a Shepherds pie?
Contemplated whilst cooking tonight a conversation with a colleague today. This was about frustration over never getting all jobs done before more is added to a "to do" list.
But although you may not cover all you need to, at the end of the day it is not what makes the world go round ; )
