Recording for Posterity

There are currently two city centre areas where brave and extensive demolition and development are changing the perspectives and character of streets which were very familiar to us. One is at Forsyth Street in the Merchant City; this one is looking east along Ingram Street from GOMA and the Conehead Duke, to High Street.

This view - of the rear of the GPO building amongst other things - will soon disappear in favour of reflective glass and sleek curves and angles. Just time to record the open vista first,

An uplifting lunch with my good friend and confidante, GOD You may all relax, safe in the knowledge that the world has been soundly put to rights, nay, verbally thrashed into submission, at least for a little while!
