America's Hometown

It is fun to watch people walk up to Plymouth Rock and realize that it is just a rock. And probably not the first rock the Pilgrims set foot on. Nevertheless, it is quite the monument.

I took a friend from out of town, so it was (hopefully) fun for her to see these sights for the first time. We learned that this year is the 50th anniversary of the Mayflower II (a replica of the original Mayflower).

We also walked out on the jetty, but I didn't find what I was looking for.

There are some friends you just don't see enough.
