The Hollow Mask Illusion

There is a subtlety to the uni tour circuit that I had overlooked and that is that you actually do some of it twice. We are now doing the rounds of places that have made offers. And so it was that we found ourselves back in Manchester at a slightly more tailored visit. There was a break out session where some of the lecturers were available to meet and one of them had this on display.

I'm dead chuffed with this picture because it's reproduced the illusion really well. The mask you are looking at is concave (remember folks, caves go IN). The other part of the illusion is that the eyes should follow you as you move. I don't think that part has worked as well/at all.
