Double emergency Blip

Was somewhat exhausted after dinner, falling asleep on the sofa. Not hard given the TV offering. Woke up at 23:30 remembering I hadn't Bliped but worse still not taken a single photo and even worse I had a very important document to get finished & in the post tomorrow.

Made myself a coffee and looked around for an emergency Blip, switched to Sky News & an item on the Monty Python press conference - Angie will be delighted. She can't cope with my version of British humour but she is a devotee of The Life of Brian being able to quote many of the scenes at the drop of a hat. Then noticed it was 23:55 and still no photo, so got up and realised I had left the camera in the garden house! Fast dash, photo of garden thermometer (+2°C) and as the church bells started to ring midnight, quickly took the coffee machine, the lens fogged up by the temperature change.

Has been dry today hence lots of outdoor work and overdose of fresh air. Remains cold at perhaps +5°C at midday and still no night frost. It was drizzling when I dashed out but no sign it wanted to snow.

Am switching off comments as this Blip is unworthy of the name. Will hopefully be back to "normal" tomorrow. Hope you all get through the day well.
