The day after..

After assessing the roof damage this morning, I spent an hour on the phone trying to sort the insurance out. After explaining everything to 5 different people who seemed to work for different companies in total isolation from each other, someone eventually came out and reported that it was too big a job for the emergency repair service, so I had to ring them back and the main insurance company (I think) are sending someone out to validate the claim (again) and hopefully repair the roof before it rains. 50 slates off, cast iron gutters hanging and the TV Aerial blown off its bracket. Oh well, at least we don't live in the Philippines..

Tonight was much calmer and a beautiful starry night, so I played with torches up at Alva Woodland Park, while Marley terrorised passers by.
