A New National Obsession...

I think there's a new national obsession that might be outweighing the weather. The only thing is, this is quite a seasonal one.

The national obsession of the nation pre-empting christmas. Be it shops playing music, setting up their displays or residentials putting up their trees or chrimbo lights. It used to be that the "Some shop's put up it's christmas display" comments only started if something was spotted in early October, then November, now I'm still hearing people surprised when the Chrimbo deco is spotted in the waning weeks of November.

It's getting sillier than the actual early preparations.
