Lantern making

I went along to take some photos of the first night of lantern building for the Ellesmere Winter Festival and was very impressed by the size and scale of what is going on. Huge lanterns, cannot wait to see some lit (and take even more photos).

All the lanterns are very naked at this point but I just fancied a bit of a noir play with this photo.
