Murmurlet

I spent an enjoyable, if cold, few minutes at lunchtime watching this moderate-sized flock of starlings manoeuvre around the crow's field - much to the irritation of the crows and occasional gull.

Photographically it was a bit frustrating as they mostly kept below the horizon. It was fascinating looking at the shots I did get, seeing how even the wing positions are synchronised across the flock.
