A glimpse of the sun

We had a few things to do out and about this afternoon and were in need of a bit of fresh air, so we called in at Mosedale and walked along the valley for a while. It was cold and damp and the cloud cover was very low, but it was nice to be out in the hills, even if briefly. Here is bracken on the hillside and about as much as we’ve seen of the sun all day.
