Finished(ish)

My gawd this seems to have gone on for ages. And just because the carpet started losing some tufts. So if the carpet needs replaced, may as well redecorate the walls. If the walls are being redecorated wouldn't that be a good time to open up the old fireplace and put a stove in. And then having done that, perhaps rather than re-paper it we should get the whole room plastered. And yes, I did need a new length of microbore for that radiator. I better be careful before I turn into a megabore about it all.
How long before I can get it back to looking how I like it?

Right! Thursday night is curry night. Where's that lad of mine. Get those nans in there, my son!
