Maruia Falls

I've blipped them before from time to time, but its one of those places that you always take visitors. This evening Teacherlady was saved from my usual lecture about how the falls were created - but only because she used to live in Murchison so she knows the details as well as I do.

I didn't manage to get the falls quite right today so this landscape shot gives an idea of the massive size without showing just how blown out the whites are.
