AN UNWANTED VISITOR

Well, this was my unwanted visitor, a Speckled Cobra. He appeared on my front lawn this morning! I wouldn't have minded him being there if it weren't for the fact that when I take the dogs out they have pass the spot where his hole is. After many phone calls to various snake catchers I finally found one who was available to fetch this little chap. Oh dear, the tunnel system under the lawn is vast, which we discovered after we (he) had dug up the lawn. Suffice it to say that he was either hiding or made already made a hasty getaway!
I now have a rather large ditch in my lawn, which we have left open for a while to allow him to escape if he is still there. There has not been any more sign of him so hopefully all the activity scared him off....here's hoping!
