HMS Victory
Decided to go to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard today.
Again it's quite pricey but worth it, as you get to see all three main ships (Victory, Warrior, and Mary Rose) and also go out on a Harbour Tour by boat.
We started with the Warrior, which is a bit like two ships stuck together, being both sail and steam powered. Then we had a tour around the Victory - Nelson's Ship. Then a spot of lunch, then out on a boat to see all the newer navy warships and aircraft carriers and then the Mary Rose. They'll be closing the Mary Rose on the 20th of this month as they can finally start the drying out process and plan to build a new museum around her with all the other bits they found when pulling her up from the ocean.
We did plan to do a bit of shopping in Gunwharf Quays but ran out of time. We had dinner with friends - fish and chips. Mmm...
