The sun dropping behind the ridge.

The Kinsol valley runs North South, so in the winter the sun drops out of sight behind the west Koksilah ridge sooner than we like. At the other end of the day we patiently wait for sun to clear the eastern ridge in the morning. It's best to plan the day around these events or "bundle up". Sometimes I wish for the great sky of the prairies...............but not the biting cold that goes with it.
