A handrail, not a fence

Nipped out to enjoy the sunshine outside Teuchter's Landing, sitting by the side of the bridge over the lock, which is a real sun trap.

I was a bit sniffy about the place at first, especially after they removed the old booths that had been there when it was the Waterfront. But the new owners have done a good job, I think. And they serve a fine pint of Landlord.

Sometimes a bit of change isn't a bad thing, it would seem.
