Impressive place
This is Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland. The house is part of an old estate that is supported by Prince Charles, indeed he saved it in 2o08.
I often wondered what the point of Prince Charles was - he seems a bit remote and, quite frankly, strange.
After talking to the guys that run this place it is obvious that the prince is doing a great job here. The whole estate has been designed as a training centre for young people. They become farmers; caterers; wood turners everything. It was very humbling to visit. And Prince Charles isn't hands off - he visits and stays eight times a year and has a weekly report sent to him wherever he is in the world. I'm told that he has a say in everything down to the colour of the paint and design of the buildings.
Here's s some more pics.
