Pouring of concrete began today on what will be my house, hopefully. The weather was mostly atrocious, and we're going to have to look out for frost for the next few days.

But it went well. The trenches are filled. The first physical step after almost two years of paper exercises and dancing with the local council planning department. We are on our way.

And bloody hell it's a big house!
