A Different View

I found this map in a box of books in the house. It must have been sneaked in by someone else cos it's the first I've seen it.

It's of Edinburgh - and it made me smile. The map is dominated by an image of the Castle, but how could you possibly complain, the castle is glorious on any day.

Today though it was quite spectacular, it reminded me of when I first came to Edinburgh 30+ years ago. Then I used to drive along Princes Street just to see the castle and wonder at its magnificence.

Nowadays I just have to walk round the corner to see it but it doesn't matter it still has the same effect.
