Warm wrists
Before we moved away from Cambridge, I went to a knitting class one evening at the Sheep Shop. We learned garter stitch, which is formed by knitting all rows (as opposed to alternating between knitting and purling). We were to make a pair of wrist warmers, which are roughly square pieces of knitting, sewn up at opposite edges, leaving a hole for the thumb.
I didn't have the faintest idea of how to sew them up, so I went back to the shop to ask how to do this. I have finally finished both wrist warmers, and in the photo, I proudly model one of them. My next knitting project is to make a pair for Mr Pandammonium.
