New Delhi

After a very good flight to Dubai from Johannesburg we managed to catch our connecting flight to New Delhi.

Getting through arrivals was sllloooooow. Finding our taxi driver from the hotel was a non event so we ended up in a pre paid taxi. What an experience! I am now convinced that when learning to drive in India they are taught that wing mirrors, road positioning and indicators are optional usage and your horn is your best friend, use often and move out aimlessly!

The hotel is good, it's location is very near to the train station which there could have been better choices but as we are on the train to Agra at 6am tomorrow this will be ok. It's clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant at the top of the hotel was very good.

This is one of the views albeit... I've 'punched' it for more effect.
