Brave Girl

My brave little girl let out a little cry as the needles went in but by the time we left the treatment room she was back to sleep - no Calpol required!

She had her check up with the doctor too and was given a fit bill of health. I told him about her yucky eyes that she has had since birth on and off. We bathe them with cooled boiled water morning and night but they are gunky most mornings. She has had some swabs taken and eye drops prescribed.

To celebrate me and Minnie went shopping - well, she needs to learn these vital lessons early! I bought her a few toys, a new book and a couple of outfits. I rewarded myself with a Costa coffee and Linzer biscuit :)

Minnie didnt wake for 4 hours so she was ravenous when she woke at 2. We had an hour playing on her activity mat and looking through her new book before she has conked out again! I have given her some Calpol this afternoon just in case the injection starts to hurt her.

I am off out with the girls tonight - Wednesday Cinema Club is restarted for Winter. Tomorrow we have a busy day.....Baby class in the morning and then meeting a friend for coffee who has a little girl just 3 days older than Minnie - really looking forward to it.

Minnie continues to sleep for 6 hours through the night...yippee. Also earlier today I left the room while Minnie was having a kick about on her mat and when I came back she had rolled onto her side and started to doze off to sleep! Clever little lady and one proud mommy :)
