Aye the slave trade must have been a good earner eh.
Like so many country houses around Glasgow the wealthy landowners made their money from Slavery and tobacco.
Some streets in Glasgow have Caribbean names like Jamaica st., St Vincent St.
Also there is Virginia St ,there must be many more but I am sure there is or was Tobago st.
