Headless!

A brief visit to the loch this morning before going to visit a disabled friend for coffee. It was very cold and most of the birds were gathered in the shallows or the shingle apart from the tufted ducks who were bobbing about in the centre of the loch out of the range of my camera. This rather large cygnet was the blip for today as he contorted himself in the preening process.
