Relief Packs for distribution in the Philippines

So far our team in the Philippines has distributed survival packs to those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the following areas nearby northern Cebu; San Remigio, Daanbantayan, Madridejos, Bantayan Island and Municipality, Camotes Islands, Bogo City, Medellin and Santa Fe.

They are now getting a clearer picture of the number of displaced families, providing as many people as possible with ‘instant relief’ packs and temporary shelter. So far over 80% of affected areas in Northern Cebu have received relief goods, and we continue to work hard to reach even more communities, especially those in remote places.

Our team reports; “The amount of disaster is just incredible, but we are hopeful that our joint efforts can make a difference and ensure that no one dies of hunger in the aftermath of Yolanda (Haiyan).”
