Kakatsitsi

It was so hard to take a photo tonight of this magnificent group of Ghanaian drummers, singers & dancers; they were constantly on the move, when playing or dancing.

The sound of the drums went straight through the floor and into our bodies, and our spirits. The singing brought joy to the heart, and I have never seen such expressive faces on any musicians.

What is astounding is that these fantastic, inspirational musicians make little money. They go on tour, sponsored by charity, in order to send money home for the children of their village and their own families. As schooling is not free, most of it goes on sending the children to school.

They were an absolute joy to watch and listen to.
