New Machine

A week or two I sold my 7D, time, after 4 years and 56 000 frames it was time to move on.

I decided on the 70D, smaller, lighter, wi-fi, dual sensor, great for video, SD instead of CF card. I’ve been shopping for one for a while, trying to find a good deal, and today I found that deal, at Harvey Norman of all places. Yeah, I know …

With the 18-135 on it’s not as light as I anticipated, but certainly lighter than my KL series lenses. It’s going to be my travel camera next year. Lighter weight body, one lens, looking forward to it.

And I should explain, this is a "filler" until the 7D Mk II is released, or I upgrade to the 5D, I think it's going to be a fine stand in! ;)
