Canal Dreams
Had the day off work today, as the car was booked in for a service, and had a few other things to do in the afternoon. Rather than sit in the garage for two hours reading my book (coincidentally "Canal Dreams" by Iain Banks), I thought I'd take a wee wander along the union canal for some photos. Car didn't need anything done over and above the servicing, however they did point out that the two front tyres were at 2mm, and should really be changed soon. Fine, I thought, so I enquired as to how much some new tyres would cost - two hundred and thirty pounds. Each! I think I'll need to save up for a bit so as I can afford them!
