Surreal...

turn the corner...spot an elf going home

anyway still behind on here because things are still wonky

1. got the heating going all by myself (hooray)
2. checked my records and although I had a repair in July 2011 it looks like SSE haven't done the annual service
3. so what have I been paying for
4. service booked for 6 December
5. complaint letter pending

then I finished work a bit late having actually had a rare lunch break with Christine and Cheryl (good lunch - but finishing late bad because of walking Kassidy...but if I hadn't been late I wouldn't have spotted the elf so not so bad)

1. three miles into my six mile commute there was a funny sound from the rear passenger side wheel...mmmm
2. it came it went
3. the ABS warning light came on and stayed on
4. the noise got loud and metal on metal
5. luckily there is a garage across the road from the house so the car got dumped - and it's fingers crossed that the disc hasn't been scored
