Waiting for the Sun

The painting is finished! And maw's house now has two smoke detectors that can communicate with each other. A miracle. Now all that's needed is a portable appliance check, a gas safety check, an electrical installation condition report and an energy performance report. I'm not whining about it as I'm sure it's all done for the best possible reasons. Grrrr. Perhaps I need to check my energy too as I'm flagging.

But anyway, what great advice I got from my fellow blippers about the leaking leak. I was even awakened by a text from the Cap'n who was brimming with advice and anxious to share it. I can picture him pacing his garden, texting away. Mobile in one hand, ciggy in the other, whilst imagining a hacksaw in the third.
