Family heirloom

My grandmother's silver teapot which had its yearly polish today by Mrs St Swithin. Hardly ever gets used - probably on Christmas day and other big family events. Did a few blips in colour but think it looks better in b and w.

As promised there was a light dusting of snow this morning but not enough to interfere with the commute. Very cold though this evening and a real wintry feel in the air.
