Neighbours

Jim has been growing tomatoes, and he left us some on the hedge today. They tasted fantastic and looked great. Made me think that we don't often appreciate good neighbours until something happens to make us take notice of them. Then I thought, maybe that's what makes a good neighbour - they let you live your life in privacy as well as being there to call upon when you need them. First met Jim and Margaret (his wife) when I first moved in and they took delivery of my new TV when I was at work. They even bought me flowers to welcome me to the neighbourhood.
