The Geese have Landed

Another stunning sunny day but sodding cold (5 degrees C on the car dashboard) and MaggieD and I went out on a wild blip goose hunt. We found about 300 or so feeding out near Flanders Moss and as a little bonus, there were some 50 lapwing feeding in the same field.
Later we dropped in to wish son-in-law Phil a very happy birthday and to hand over cards and present. Hope you are having a great day, Phil!
