First snow!

When I looked out of the window this morning at 6:30 I went into "snow mode"!

This is the view from just in front of my house.

It was frosty hard snow and the car took a fair wee while to defrost. The hens refused to come out of their house and I had to "defrost" the door of it to get it open!. I had to get myself prepared for getting L to the school bus. To explain we live on the other side of a nasty steep bridge and in snow or ice it is sometimes a bit of a mission to get to the top of it! Lucky I had winter tyres put on last week!!

Anyway it wasn't too bad and seems to be thawing now....although more to come this week. My battery charging has begun in preparation for powercuts etc!

Be prepared... it's snow joke!!!!!
