Where did those houses come from?

I've never seen any photos of houses, apart from the fort, on St. Catherines. Very strange.

On the back of this postcard, to a Miss. I. Rayner Smith, 24 Kingsley Avenue, West Ealing, W.13, is written:

Tenby

DEAR. IRIS
IS'NT IT A PITY WE
CAN'T GO ON THE
SAND,S TO-DAY
WiTH LOVE BERYL.

From the look of the writing, and the fact that someone has drawn lines in pencil to guide her, I think Beryl was quite young when she sent this - 6 or 7 years old maybe.

I hope she enjoyed the rest of her holiday.
