Good morning sunshine

A beautiful sunny morning, cold and crisp, just the way it should be in late autumn. The mist was rising off the river when I drove past it on my way to take Thomas to school this morning, but by the time I got back it has nearly all gone. It still looked lovely with the sun shining through the trees.

I find this time of the year so busy with planning and shopping for Christmas, plus we are finally coming to the end of some building works at home and there is much to do in cleaning up after the builders have gone and sorting furniture for the new room. I find there are just not enough hours in the day! We are also starting to enter the silly season when we have additional functions to attend like sports team dinners, school concerts (A Britten orchestral concert on Friday night, and I am not sure if I even like Britten...), and other Christmas functions, all mainly school related. And I have yet to start my Christmas shopping...
