The Art of Food Photography

When I read this most interesting and informative article on food styling, I just had to blip food.

My food styling routine:
1. Turn on kitchen lights
2. Find something not too manky in the fridge
3. Bang it on the counter so as to cover the shriveled bit
4. Look through lens, notice crumbs
5. Remove onion, mop counter
6. Place onion, carelessly spray some water around
7. Reel off a few snaps
20 secs, maximum.

I guess magazines require a little more finesse. They wouldn't be able to eat that chicken though. And painting nail polish on prawns? Sacrilege!
