He wanted to have his share of painting - and probably some counterweight to all the mellow white I've been splashing around. The stairs are not white but a light brownish- grayish carpet in a bad shape. And this picture gave me the idea to look for some used hardwood flooring that I could use to replace the carpet - and paint white. I clearly miss my white painted stairs we used to have. And need more painting projects.

What else would you do on a rainy day filled with chores? Not complaining - the rest of the week we're supposed to see more sun.
