...LARGE RAINDROP....

... after all the fantastic rain we have had, the roses and other plants just have "lapped" it up!

Noticed this morning that this small rose leaf was over jealous, and had collected a BIG droplet! The leaf itself was only about 25mm in size so you can get a bit of an idea of how large the droplet was.

Also out of interest, yesterday Paladian blipped a Sharp Tailed Sandpiper, and explained they migrate all the way from Siberia. I was commenting when I read her story I think we also saw the same little fella whilst on hols at Phillip Island recently. Boy, they sure can fly for a small bird.
