Where the Wild Things Are
I am sorry for another very late entry I seem to be nothing but tired these days.
The day dawned with a blue sky but that did not last long as the shades of grey slowly but steadily nudged their way in. Monochrome was really the only option but you know I like to shoot in monochrome and this shot with the tide on the turn saw the timbers exposed.
There is something eerie about this place when the light is flat like this, that does not take away from the stark beauty, most days this place is deserted nobody there to share in the beauty of the changing light and the moods. A special place for me and somewhere that I feel close to those in I want to have with me.
I hope you enjoy the changing faces of this special place as much as I do
