To the Beach

After leaving the second of two funerals in one week, we headed for the beach. Very spur of the moment, but when we realized we had no plans until noon on Monday, we took off. Stopped at home to change clothes, fill a small cooler, feed the cat and chickens and reserve a place to stay. It was great and exactly what we needed. We holed up in a room with a view of the beach, we walked, we watched four movies, we knitted, we read, we rested our weary psyches.
