Nichol End - Day 1 LPH

During a day of mixed weather we had some excellent conditions, with beautiful reflections, some brilliant periods of light, and lovely bits of cloud on the hillsides. There were at least another 9 I could have blipped and I've put them on Flickr if you're interested.

This is Nichol End by Derwentwater where we stopped for a cup of tea and wonderful slab of ginger cake. As we got there we saw some lovely light on the far bank. I liked these hire boats, they're not proper wood but at least they make the effort to like they are. This is a 10 shot multi exposure which has smoothed out the water a little more.

Here it is 11.30 and I've just had time to process a photo for blip. We work long hours on this workshop (and enjoy every minute of it). Looking forward to tomorrow, weather promises to be great.
