Christmas Kitty

The color challenge word today is Crimson. Okay, so I started getting some of the Christmas decorations out. Couldn't resist, neither could Whoopie! She is the sister of Marley. We special ordered him from a local rescue group and we agreed to take his sister until they could find her a permanent home. That was in 2006. Whoopie was named that because she has a white stripe going down her belly and looks like a Whoopie Pie She is also known as Scaredy Cat as she is quite high strung. She and Marley used to be very close, but he got too feisty and there are certain things he does that are not appropriate for a brother to be attempting with his sister and now she starts hissing and spitting as soon as he enters a room and looks in her direction. She is the best Mouser we could ever hope for. She keeps our yard and the neighbors woodpile free of mice. Mostly she plays with them but once in a while she will leave just a head with whiskers attached. She also likes chipmunks for fun and entertainment. Sorry if this bothers anyone, but I have not had a flower bulb eaten since she arrived!! To her credit, she is very sweet and affectionate to most every human she meets.
